WordSmith
Public Relations
is a leading, global
multi-media public relations consultancy... yawn?
If
this style of corporate writing makes you skip to the next sentence,
the next paragraph - or even the next story - you're not alone.
Writing for 21st Century media, the people who read or view
that media, and the potential customers you want needs to be
compelling, interesting, even exciting or funny sometimes. So,
let's try that again.
WordSmith
PR's staff love to write and pitch stories to our friends in
the media.
Our top creative and media outreach staff have worked both sides
of the pen/keyboard/keypad, so we know what the media is looking
for... when to buy them a cup of coffee or a slice of pizza,
and when to leave them alone. Everybody has deadlines, and nobody
wants to be be bothered when they're out-of-their-head busy...
R-E-S-P-E-C-T is a two-way street (just ask Aretha).
While
at WordSmith and in prior professional lives, we've gotten our
clients into virtually every national news outlet - be they
print, online, digital or broadcast. WordSmith delivers your
message to the people you need to receive it- whatever channel
they prefer.
More
than anything else, we're translators.
We know consumer and B2B technology and love being a part of
innovative revolutions. But if you're speaking in jargon that
people can't understand, you're probably wasting your breath.
So, we take your information and break it down into a language
the media and your clients want to receive, with messages that
drive action.
WordSmith Public
Relations is led by Isaac
O'Bannon, whose 15 years of media and corporate
communications expertise has centered around consumer and business-consumer
technologies, with additional expertise in the public accounting
space and a dash of engineering and academic relations.
With
bachelor's and graduate degrees in Journalism and Public Relations,
Isaac has helped develop and manage media relations campaigns
since the mid 1990s. While with technology PR agencies in San
Francisco, Denver and Tulsa,
Isaac's clients have included Logitech, Polycom and Hilti, providing
these companies with positive coverage throughout the media
spectrum: The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington
Post, USA Today, L.A. Times, Wired, PC Magazine, Telephony,
Slate, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and even on the Oprah Winfrey show
as one of the first product giveaways (Logitech webcam in 2001).
Independent
of these agencies, Isaac and WordSmith PR's staff have also
provided creative services to the largest technology
companies in the world, including writing several advertorial
articles for Microsoft's Dynamics and Small Business Solutions
divisions, for Intuit (the makers of QuickBooks), and for the
Tax & Accounting arm of Thomson Reuters, the world's largest
information provider.
But
WordSmith Public Relations has returned to the biggest industry
in the world: Small Businesses, which make up more than 50%
of the U.S. gross domestic product, and account for 99% of all
U.S. businesses. Helping these emerging entities spread the
word of their innovations, achievements and contributions to
their industries allows us to spend less time working with the
hierarchies of the behemoth corporations -- and more time getting
to know the real people behind what makes America work. We're
also able to get back to the real work: writing, media outreach
and knowing our customers' businesses, instead of worrying about
managerial and administrative tasks.
Our
staff includes professionals with similarly broad experience
who have a desire to help smaller companies push innovation
in their markets. With an average of more than 10 years of public
and corporate communications experience, there are no "junior
staff" at WordSmith. We know your market, we know your
customers, and we've worked with the media professionals you
need to reach to get to your potential clients. Even more, WordSmith
has the power to reach them.
Words
are powerful, let us find the right ones for your company.
WordSmith
PR... Words can be Powerful.
Use them wisely.
